PAYMENT PROCEDURE

The fee for the intro lesson is $35 (30 minutes) or  (1 hour) is $65. This is a time for us to determine if I am a good teacher for you. Payment for this lesson is due 48 hours prior to the lesson. If you decide after the initial lesson that you would like to continue as an on-going student, we can determine a schedule for subsequent lessons (60 min lessons every two weeks or weekly, or 30 minute or 45 min- weekly lessons). The remaining balance for the initial month or lessons will be due prior to your next lesson. Please read on for payment methods and guidelines for subsequent monthly payments.

Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month. If you are sick or absent during the first lesson day of the month, payment must still be received on time. Please make arrangements accordingly.

Late Payments: In the event of late payments (outstanding of 3 days), a $25 late fee will be assessed and the remaining lessons for the month may be cancelled. Payment must be received in full before resuming lessons. In the event of more than two late payments in the calendar year, a monthly auto-payment will be necessary in order to continue lessons.

*  For on-going students: A deposit lesson ($65) will be collected at the time of the first monthly  payment, in addition to the first month's tuition. This deposit will be returned to you in full when you discontinue lessons, on the condition that you give one month notice prior to departure.

The following payment methods are accepted (I do not accept cash or personal checks) :

1. Online transfer:
   For those who bank with WSECU (or another bank that offers this service) and wish to transfer payments electronically, please contact me for my account information.
2. Bill Pay (For Continuing Students Only- Not an option for the Intro lesson payment): If you wish add me as a payee in your online banking and have your bank issue me a check via snail mail each month, please use my address on the first page of this form. ( Please set the date for no later than the 26th of each month so that it will arrive by the 1st.)
3. Venmo: (@olyfiddle). This is an app that allows users to send payments from a smart phone without fees. If you are not a current Venmo user, you must set up an account and be verified. This can take between 1- 3 days, depending on your bank. It can be downloaded in the App Store.

4. PayPal (pamela.margon@gmail.com) : If using this app, please add an additional 3.5 % to the total tuition each month to cover the fee deduction.

CANCELATIONS/MAKE-UP LESSONS

I require 24 hours notice in order for a make-up lesson to be considered. Priority for make-up lessons will be given for absences due to illness or family emergency. Absences due to vacations or other reasons will be granted make-ups pending teacher availability.
Cancellations of less than 24 hours or no-shows will be charged at the full lesson rate. You are responsible for keeping track of your missed lessons and for scheduling your make-up lessons. Make-up's must be redeemed within two months of the absence, and cannot be accrued or redeemed outside of this time period. I will do my best to make up every missed lesson due to illness (mine or yours), with the understanding that this may not always be possible. There will be no reduction in monthly tuition or refunds granted for missed lessons.
If you intend to discontinue lessons at any point, please give one month notice to allow for your spot to be filled by an incoming student. Your deposit lesson will be refunded only if one month notice is given. If less notice is given, you will be responsible for a full month’s tuition from your departure date and your deposit lesson will be applied to the balance due.
